Supreme Court, JICA ink capacity development project

                       

                        

                       

Nay Pyi Taw, 22 Aug- Signing ceremony for record of discussion of ''The Project for Capacity Development of Legal, Judicial and Relevant Sectors in Myanmar'' Sub-Project II between the Office of Supreme Court of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and Japan International Cooperation Agency was held at the assembly hall of the Office of Supreme Court of the Union,here, this morning.

                        

Chief Justice of the Union U Tun Tun Oo said that the signing would improve capacity development of legal, judicial and relevant sectors in Myanmar including human resources development. Besides, it would further promote Japan-Myanmar cooperation in legal affairs and capacity enhancement of the courts.

                        

Next, Director-General of the Supreme Court of the Union U Sein Than and resident representative of JICA (Myanmar) Mr. Masahiko Tanaka signed the record of discussion.
