Workshop on Intellectual Property

Workshop on Intellectual Property co-organized by the Office of the Union Supreme Court and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) was held at the Park Royal Hotel today.

         

 During the Workshop, Textbook for Judges and Sample Case Study on Trademark infringement for establishing effective Intellectual Property Dispute Resolution System in Myanmar will be discussed by the experts led by Professor Mr. KUMAGAI Kenichi and Mr. ONODERA Yoshifumi, JICA Legal Consultants and responsible persons for JICA. Altogether 22 Judicial Officers from the Office of the Union Supreme Court led by Deputy Director General including Intellectual Property Working Group are attending.

         

 The Workshop will be held on 22-24 August by the cooperation with the Office of the Supreme Court of the Union and JICA for establishing effective Intellectual Property Dispute Resolution System in Myanmar under the Judiciary Strategic Plan.
