Chief Justice of the Union attends the 3rd ASEAN Chief Justices' Meeting which was held at Boracay, Philippine

 

        Chief Justice of the Union U Htun Htun Oo accompanied by the Myanmar delegate attended the 3rd ASEAN Chief Justices' Meeting which was held at Halina Ball Room of Shangri-la Boracay and Spa in Boracay, Philippine.

 

           

 

       At the opening ceremony of the Meeting, Chief Justice of the Union delivered an opening address like other Chief Justices and made his discussion at the consecutive meeting on the matters of developing ASEAN Judiciaries Portal; engaging with the ASEAN Secretariat so as to implement the decisions of the  ASEAN Chief Justices' Meeting; cooperating in judicial education training with other countries; observing extensively the mechanism of facilitating the service of civil process among ASEAN countries; collaborating with ASEAN countries in the Court Technology and Case Management and so on.

 

           

 

        The ASEAN Chief Justices' Meetings were being held at the nations of ASEAN region regularly and the 1st ASEAN Chief Justices' Meeting in Singapore; the 2nd ASEAN Chief Justices' Meeting in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and this was for the third time in Boracay, Philippine. Also present at the Meeting were the Chief Justices, Deputy Chief Justices and Vice President, and Associate Justices and Supreme Court Judges from the ASEAN countries, and Chief Justice from Guam as the guest in the meeting.
