Workshop on Legal English Train-the-Trainers Course for Judges

Workshop on Legal English Train-the-Trainers Course for Judges was held by the Supreme Court of the Union at Royal ACE Hotel, Nay Pyi Taw from 1 to 9 December 2016 in collaboration with the Singapore Ministry of Law.

           

The Workshop was conducted under the Memorandum of Under-standing signed between the Ministry of Law of the Republic of Singapore and the Supreme Court of the Union of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. The objectives of the workshop are to develop Legal English skills for legal studies, to get support in studying international laws, and to develop the effective learning and teaching methods.

Altogether 20 judicial officers from the Office of the Supreme Court of the Union, the Office of the Union Judiciary Supervision and the Office of the Union Chief Justice were attended at the 1 week long workshop.
