Union Chief Justice

Chief Justice Htun Htun Oo has been appointed as the Chief Justice of the Union at the Supreme Court of the Union of Myanmar since March, 2011. He was previously appointed as the Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme Court in March 2007.

Chief Justice Htun Htun Oo was born in 1956. He got his B.A.(Law) Degree in 1978 and LL.B. Degree in 1979 from Yangon Arts and Science University. He served at the Office of the Judge Advocate General for over 25 years up to the post of the Assistant Judge Advocate General. He is married.
