Workshop on Intellectual Property

Workshop on Intellectual Property co-organized by the Office of the Union Supreme Court and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) was held at the Park Royal Hotel today.


 During the Workshop, Textbook for Intellectual Property Laws and Sample Case Study for establishing effective Intellectual Property Dispute Resolution System in Myanmar is discussed by the experts led by Professor Mr. KUMAGAI Kenichi, former High Court Judge Mr. Ryoichi MIMURA and Attorney at Law Mr. ONODERA Yoshifumi, JICA Legal Consultants and responsible persons for JICA. Altogether 20 Judicial Officers from the Office of the Union Supreme Court led by Deputy Director General including Intellectual Property Working Group are attending. Moreover, one representative from Amyotha Hluttaw, one representative from Pyithu Hluttaw, one officer from the Ministry of Education, five officers from the Union Attorney General's Office are also attending in the Workshop.


 At the Workshop, the film crews from JICA Headquarter (Tokyo, Japan) is conducting interview with Deputy Director General and film activities for JICA's cooperation with the Union Supreme Court of Myanmar.
