Ceremony for Signing of the Minutes of Meeting for the Extension of Project for Capacity Development of the Legal, Judicial and Relevant Sectors in Myanmar between the Office of the Supreme Court of the Union and Japan International Cooperation Agency Held at the Supreme Court of the Union

Ceremony for Signing of the Minutes of Meeting for the Extension of Project for Capacity Development of the Legal, Judicial and Relevant Sectors in Myanmar between the Office of the Supreme Court of the Union and Japan International Cooperation Agency was held at the Supreme Court of the Union at 9:30 A.M today.

        

The Ceremony was attended by H.E U Htun Htun Oo, Chief Justice of the Union, Supreme Court Justice U Mya Thein, Supreme Court Justice U Myint Aung, Supreme Court Justice U Myint Han, senior officials of the Supreme Court of the Union and the representatives and officials from Japan International Cooperation Agency.

        

During the Ceremony, the Signing of the Minutes of Meeting for Project Extension was conducted by Daw Aye Aye Kyi Thet, Director-General of the Office of the Supreme Court of the Union and Mr. NAKAZAWA Keiichiro, Chief Representative of JICA Myanmar; Presentation of Catalog of Equipment delivered to Judicial Training Centre was done by Mr. NAKAZAWA Keiichiro, Chief Representative of JICA Myanmar; and Presentation of Letter of Appreciation for JICA’s Contribution to the Supreme Court of the Union of Myanmar was done by Daw Aye Aye Kyi Thet, Director- General of the Office of the Supreme Court of the Union.

        

According to the Minutes of Meeting signed today which is the result of the Amendment of the Record of Discussion, the duration of the Project for Capacity Development of the Legal, Judicial and relevant Sectors in Myanmar between the Office of the Supreme Court of the Union and Japan International Cooperation Agency will be extended to May 31, 2018.
